Quake Champions Early Access Performance Review

1080p Performance

Quake Champions performs very well on PC, even when playing at the game’s Ultra graphical settings. All of the GPUs that we tested were able to play the game with average framerates of over 60FPS, making this game an ideal pick for both budget PC gamers and premium framerate junkies alike.

With even our GTX 960 and R9 380 achieving average framerates in the 70’s, it is hard to believe that many PC gamers would not be able to play the game with 60+FPS framerates at lower settings at 1080p.

From the outset, Bethesda stated that Quake Champions was designed to be played at 120FPS or higher, which is something that is very easy to achieve using modern hardware, especially at lower graphical settings. Quake Champions is one of the few games where its PC performance leaves little to be desired.
