Star Wars: Battlefront II Trial PC Performance Review

1440p Benchmarks  

Moving up to 1440p we can see our RX 480, GTX 1060 and R9 Fury X drop below our 60FPS performance target, with all of these GPUs requiring a drop to high settings to achieve a solid 60+FPS framerate.   

Here we can see AMD’s R9 Fury X suffer a huge drop in performance, giving it a minimum framerate that is lower than both our RX 480 and GTX 1060, showcasing the limitations of AMD’s old flagship at higher resolutions. Even so, this GPU can still perform with a steady 60+ FPS framerate at lower graphical settings. 

Only our GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 GPUs are able to achieve a solid 60+ FPS framerate here, though it is likely that AMD’s RX Vega 56 and 64 series cards would hit similar performance feats, though this cannot be confirmed since we do not have an RX Vega series GPU for game testing at this time.
