Given that we’ve already seen in our time with it that the RTX 2080Ti is a card which improves upon the GTX 1080Ti at higher resolutions and particularly uses its extra power to improve image quality rather than just push frame rates to the stratosphere, then it isn’t a massive shock that it out-performs the older Pascal card. The scores we’ve seen so far between the Ryzen and Intel takes upon an eight-core processor are also reflected in the overall Passmark result, where the Velocity R1 just whomps it.
