The new 9th Generation Core i9 processors are insanely good especially if, like me, your daily driver is an old quad core. They overclock hard and fast and the full EK cooling available on the Velocity R1 ensure a stable 5 GHz across all eight cores at all times. One thing is for sure, you’ll never be left waiting on account of the CPU.

  

The benefits of a water-cooled system is that there is more than enough thermal headroom to let the RTX 2080Ti run hard and fast. Out of the box it regularly average 1900 MHz with a peak of 1920 MHz, but if you wanted to spend some time fine-tuning it we’re sure that even more can be squeezed out.
