Corsair H115i PRO RGB and H150i PRO RGB Review

 

The Build

Mounting the H115i and the H150i is a piece of piddle.  Thanks to the clear instructions and well made parts everything fits together nicely. 

  

 

Here we can see the USB cable as it emerges from the Cold Plate.  As most Motherboards have their USB headers on the bottom edge, you might think it odd that the plug is designed in such away as to have the cable heading up towards the roof of the case as opposed to down to where the headers are.  The reason for this though is simple as Corsair have provided a long cable, it can most easily be hidden by directing it upwards and out of sight, disappearing through the cable management  to the rear of the case, to reappear at the bottom where it can poke through a management hole close to the USB headers.  If they had it going the other way it would have a great deal of motherboard to traverse, never mind the slab of an obstacle that is the GPU.
