Fractal Design Meshify C Review
Up Close: Interior rear
Well, this looks familiar! OK, for those of you unfamiliar with the Define C we’ll run through things anyway. To begin with the rear area is well thought out and split on to two levels. The main cable routing channel is towards the front of the case and is deeper than the rest of the interior.
The main area has 20mm of cable management space, which is plenty. There are also o good number of well spaced cable tie points back here to make your job easier.
Towards the front the space on offer deepens to some 35mm which brings a nice broad smile to our faces.
Along with cable tie points Fractal have included 3 velco style loops along the main cable track. As you can see, this track runs directly alongside the angled cable management holes.
The silk black plate is removable via a single thumb bolt to aid CPU cooler mounting, and can be used to accommodate up to three 2.5″ drives.
There’s plenty of PSU space on offer, with the unit inserted from the rear via a mounting bracket. Once in place, the PSU sits on foam rubber isolation pads.
Also on the lower deck we find a small HDD rack which has just two drawers. With modern HDDs having astronomical storage capabilities, and the increasing use of the cloud, we feel this is fine.
