Up Close
My-my-my, that’s a big package you have there. Â Well, big things do need big boxes to come in, and the twin 140mm fan based Corsair H115i is no exception. Â Magnificent isn’t it!Â
Â
As we’ve been banging on about how the boxes give detail with regards to specification and key features, we thought we’d best show you the sort of thing we’re talking about. Â Zoom up the image and you’ll see that all you need to know about the H115i is revealed.
Â
at 312mm long the H115i is one of the biggest AIOs on the market, mind you, there are quite a few cases out there now that are designed with coolers such as this in mind, so that’s not such a big worry as it used to be.
Â
The wider 140mm fan format allows for 15 water channels, the fin density though is the same so we guess Corsair are pretty happy with that layout. Â At just 26mm thick, the H115i doesn’t exactly push the boat out thickness wise, let’s hope its svelte frame is thick enough to shift the heat.
Â
If you’re spending upwards of £100 on a cooler you want it to look smart and give you a warm fuzzy feeling inside.  We think the added attention to detail that we’ve seen throughout the Corsair range will leave you smug and content with your purchase.
Â
These hose terminations might look a little flimsy, but rest assured they’re quite robust. Â In the frenzy to get things tested it’s not uncommon for coolers to get a bit of a rough housing on their way into the case, and we can tell you these junctions stand up just fine.
Â
So how do we get a 312mm long 280 rad into the roof of the MasterCase5? Â Well we could tell you, but we’d have to kill you. Â Let’s just say Mr Heath and Mr Robinson were in attendance. Â Let’s be honest, the less questions you ask the better, it’s in and that’s all that matters.
