When it comes to our gaming benchmarks we’re always looking for chinks in the armour rather than expecting any massive differences between each setup. After all, these are so GPU limited that motherboards and processors don’t have a large effect.

Despite having 24 cores ready to push data to your GPU, 3D Mark likes clock speed so much that the TR 3960X slip down to the middle of the graph. Still good as a gaming platform, but that’s clearly not its purpose in life.
