The latest version of Maxon’s rendering engine tests both single core performance as well as the multi-threaded option, dispensing with the OpenGL rendering test we had in the earlier version.
It’s less about how brilliant the TR 3960X is, but how much it’s ahead of even some hugely powerful processors that we’re all more familiar with such as the i9-9900K.
