Passmark shows why we have a wide selection of benchmarks in our test suite. The lower memory bandwidth of the Ryzen Threadripper CPUs when compared to their Intel rivals puts a serious dent in the Passmark score and thus the Intel do better. Hell the memory is weighted so heavily here that the i9-9900K out-performs the i9-7980XE. Let’s see what PC Mark thinks…
