Geekbench and Realbench

Geekbench is a fairly linear representation of the average between clock speeds and thread counts. Just as there are tasks which respond better to having more cores of any speed, so some prefer faster speeds on fewer cores, and there is significant overlap. Realbench on the other hand is based more around video encoding and, as we saw on the previous two pages, that generally leans towards the Intel CPUs winning out.
