AMD Ryzen 2nd Generation Threadripper 2920X and 2970WX Review

If the i7-7820X is the pricing equivalent of the Threadripper 2920X then clearly the Ryzen CPU is the better choice in AIDA64. More cores equal more calculative ability. It’s not a complicated setup. What is perhaps more surprising is that the extra cores are enough to overcome the clock speed difference between the Ryzen and the i9-9900K. At the top end the 2970WX has plenty of cores, but the insane number of threads on the 2990WX keep it miles ahead of the competition.
