Power draw used to be the Achilles Heel of AMD products, requiring tons more power than the Intel equivalent. With the Ryzen it is judicious in its power use at stock, and even when we thrash it hard with our full-core overclock it doesn’t require much more power than the i7-6900K and, most notably, 33% of the power that the FX-8320E did.
