We’ve been at this job long enough that we had a certain amount of trepidation before we ran the first benchmark with AIDA64. But this is not a false dawn, it’s a searing burst of sunshine. Does it match up to the Intel i7-6900K? You bet your sweet ass it does! Even the memory bandwidth – a notorious AMD weak point – is vastly improved.
