In the overclocked CPU benchmarks it’s very close between the i9-7900X and the i7-6950X, although the i9-7900X has the edge as we would expect. At stock the gap is wider. Nothing like new architecture to help pump out big scores. In our memory benchmarks it is obvious that the X299 and i9-7900X combination has a serious jump on its predecessor, with even the i7-7820X ahead of the X99 options.
