Cinebench has been a staple of the OC3D benchmark suite since we began and it is very good at testing both the single threaded performance as well as the overall thread count of your setup, regardless of which version you choose to run. Watching it on high core count CPUs is nothing short of spectacular. Never more so than here on the Xeons. It’s hilariously fast, although the extra clock speed available to the old Threadripper closes the gap considerably.
