So popular has sharing your exploits become, and so easy is it to do so, that having a system which can encode and decode H.264 and H.265 videos swiftly has never been more important. Some setups have hardware encode/decode built in, some rely on pure grunt, but all will save you time and money. The limitations of the x.264 encoder are writ large here, where it relies far more on clock speed and seems to have an upper core limit.
