Far Cry Primal PC Performance Review

1080p testing with the GTX 980Ti and R9 Fury X

Moving to our high end GPUs, the Nvidia GTX 980Ti and the AMD R9 Fury X, we can see that Nvidia has the clear advantage at 1080p, though AMD still manages to achieve some strong performance.

Nvidia have some very strong minimum framerates in this game, allowing it to be played at above 60FPS at all times at Ultra settings, which one very impressive for such a visually demanding title. With the ability to play the game at such high framerates on both AMD and Nvidia platforms Far Cry Primal will be a great title to use with high refresh rate monitors.
