Just Cause 3 – AMD VS Nvidia Performance Review

Just Cause 3 Performance Review

Graphical Comparisons – Low, Medium, High, Very High and Max Settings – Page 2

When it comes to the graphics on PC many people are all or nothing, but these days games set to their minimum settings don’t look that bad, still offering decent texture and shadow detail, but allowing players to get a solid 60FPS on even lower end hardware.

All of these Screenshots have been taken at a 4K resolution, so if you want to see these images in their full 4K glory, all you need to do is simply click on them.

A lot of the details in this game is something that you will not notice much during gameplay, as you really do need a side to side comparison to notice a lot of the visual changes. In motion the biggest differences between each of the graphical settings is the level of detail of distant objects, as you will frequently see objects drawing in at lower settings.

Moving from High to Max is where you will see the biggest difference in in-game visuals which is very noticeable as soon as you start up the game.  The world becomes much more realistic, with shadows moving from merely looking like slightly darker versions of the non-shadowed environment to looking like a real life shadow. This does a lot to make the buildings and the mountainous environment look alive, rather than having the look of a static model village look.
