Upgrading our games testing with Sapphire Pulse RDNA 4 GPUs
F1 25
F1 25 – 1080p to 4K
As mentioned before in this article, we’ve updated our original F1 25 PC review with data from our Sapphire RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT GPUs. Note that most of the performance data below comes from the game’s launch.
The F1 series is incredibly well-optimised on PC. That said, Codemasters always adds advanced graphical options that can bring any gaming PC to its knees. With ray tracing turned on, this game can stress any modern graphics card. With ray tracing turned off, the game can run at high framerates on almost any GPU.
1440p
At 1440p, F1 25’s Ultra High preset runs very well on the Sapphire RX 9070 XT. The game consistently ran at 60+ FPS. The RX 9060 XT didn’t perform as well, though gamers can use FSR 4, or disable some RT-related settings, to give framerates a huge boost.
4K
At 4K, practically all modern GPUs need to rely on upscaling to deliver high framerates at Ultra High settings. This game can make heavy use of ray tracing, but disabling those settings by using this game’s high preset allows the RX 9060 XT to deliver 60+ FPS performance at all times at native 4K. Not bad for such an affordable GPU.
