Upgrading our games testing with Sapphire Pulse RDNA 4 GPUs

The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered

Oblivion Remastered – 1080p-to-4K

As mentioned before in this article, we’ve updated our original The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered PC review with data from our Sapphire RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT GPUs. Note that most of the performance data below comes from the game’s launch.

Oblivion Remastered is an incredibly demanding game, so we’ve tested it with DLSS and FSR set to quality mode. The good news is that this game supports FSR 4, which means that RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT users can benefit from high-quality upscaling.

Again, AMD’s RX 9070 XT is a chart topper here. AMD’s RX 9060 XT also bests AMD’s RX 6800 XT, showcasing how far AMD’s GPUs have come since RDNA 2. The RX 6800 XT cost $649 at launch. The RX 9060 XT 16GB has an MSRP of $349.

1440p

At 1440p, both the RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT can deliver a strong gaming experience. Oblivion Remastered may be demanding, but AMD’s RDNA 4 GPUs can handle it.

4K

At 4K, AMD’s RX 9070 XT continues to deliver a strong gaming experience. The RX 9060 XT will require higher levels of upscaling and/or lower settings to achieve 60+ FPS performance at 4K.
