MSI Forge GK600 TKL Wireless Sky Keyboard Review
Introduction and Technical Specifications
Introduction
MSI might be more famous for motherboard and graphics cards than other products in their range. However, when you take a look through all they offer, it’s clear that actually you can nearly build a whole setup just using MSI parts. That isn’t to say that they have flown under the radar with their product launches. Rather it shows how well all their products harmonise. You don’t think of a jigsaw as a thousand separate pieces. It’s a single image made up of things that fit together. So it is with MSI. From the stuff we all know about like their Tomahawk motherboards or OLED monitors, to high end concepts like their Project Zero.
Along with many other keyboards they offer, the newest in the MSI range is the Forge GK600 TKL Wireless Sky. We’re assuming Sky is the colourway, as the box doesn’t hint at it, stopping after Wireless. In fact the decision to go with three different colour keycaps alongside three different connection methods and support for both Mac and PC are what separates the Forge GK600 from many of its contemporaries. It’s the one stop shop for your keyboard needs. Perfect if you’re in the office or just wanting to text chat with your mates on a console.
Another thing, whilst not unique to MSI is at least unusual to see, the GK600 has is a 1″ colour screen. This shows you what your Fn+[key] combinations are adjusting, letting you clearly and quickly make sure your adjustment is the one you meant. Anything that makes it easier to control a keyboard with plenty of tweakable options is a big positive. Let’s take a look.
