Crysis Remastered PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

GPU Performance Scaling – RX 5700 VS RTX 2060

Crysis Remastered is a strange release, and when comparing our Radeon RX 5700 and Geforce RTX 2060, the game’s performance preference varies significantly depending on the settings you use. 

At Low and Medium, Crysis Remastered prefers our Radeon graphics card, and at High the game’s performance lead moves to Nvidia’s RTX 2060. This is due to Crysis Remastered’s use of accelerated ray tracing on Turing and Ampere graphics cards. At very high and Can it Run Crysis mode, the lead moves to AMD again, ad Crysis Remastered starts using more VRAM than what the RTX 2060 can provide, limiting the game’s performance.  

For Crysis’ maximum settings, you will need a lot of GPU performance and a tonne of VRAM. The benchmarks below were measured at 1440p.
