Dragon Ball FighterZ PC Performance Review

Dragon Ball FighterZ PC Performance Review

4K Benchmarks with 200% resolution scale

Dragon Ball FighterZ is exceptionally easy to run, forcing us to crank up the game’s graphical settings as high as they go to experience meaningful performance dips on the majority of our GPU lineup.

Here the consequence of the game’s 60FPS fixed framerate becomes abundantly clear. The game’s simulation speed is tied to the game’s framerate, causing the game to run in slow-motion when framerates dip below 60. We will discuss this in more detail on page 13, though the consequence of this is that nothing other than a stable 60FPS is acceptable.

In all honesty, the game is quite funny to look at such a low framerate, seeing the game’s fast-paced combat get slowed down to a crawl, though it is not a way to seriously consider playing the game.

Given how easy FighterZ has been to run up until now, it is unlikely that any players of the game will come across any severe performance issues,
