Dragon Ball FighterZ PC Performance Review

CPU Benchmarks

When benchmarking this title, we are immediately slammed into Dragon Ball FighterZ’s 60FPS framerate cap, allowing us to only see if our system suffers from any performance dips, rather than judge relative performance.

On both our AMD Ryzen and Intel Broadwell-E based systems we can see that we received no CPU related framerate dips. We even went slightly lower than usual and simulated a dual-core, dual-thread setup, again seeing no framerate dips. Additional tests, which we didn’t include in this graph, saw us test the game with a dual-core at lower clock speeds to see what it would take to see framerate drops, which required extreme downclocking to force.

On the CPU side, anything that meets the game’s requirements will be more than enough to play the game at max settings, provided you have a capable GPU to pair it with. The game’s system requirements call for a quad-core or higher, whereas our testing has shown a downclocked dual-core being more than adequate. The game’s listed system requirements could afford to be a little lower, though this isn’t worth complaining much over.
