Dune: Awakening PC Benchmark Performance Review

DLSS – Upscaling and Frame Generation

DLSS Performance Scaling

For Nvidia users, DLSS is a vital technology. It can deliver significant performance increases through “super resolution” upscaling. Beyond that, it can increase framerates/smoothness with Frame Generation. For Dune Awakening at 4K, setting DLSS to Quality delivers a 65% increase to the game’s average framerate. Add on Frame Generation and framerates are boosted by 124%. The tests below were conducted in the benchmark’s “Player Built Base” scene.

Using lower quality DLSS modes can deliver further performance increases. However, each drop in DLSS’ base resolution results in a loss of image quality.
