Dying Light: The Beast PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

1080p Testing

1080p Performance

Dying Light: The Beast runs great on both old and new PC hardware. Honestly, it’s hard not to be impressed by what Techland has achieved here. Too many modern games run horribly on lower-end GPUs, giving a huge portion of the PC gaming market a subpar gaming experience. Techland has proven here that a new game can look great and still deliver solid performance numbers.

When we enable FSR and DLSS in Balanced mode (FSR 4 for RDNA 4 and FSR 3 for older AMD GPUs), we can see that all GPUs below can now run Dying Light: The Beast at 60+ FPS framerates at high settings. Not bad for a game that looks this good. Nvidia’s RTX 2070 is an old GPU, and it can still deliver a 60+ FPS experience in this game at 1080p. Nice!
