Dying Light: The Beast PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

1440p Testing

1440p Performance

Even at 1440p, Dying Light: The Beast run well on PC. Yes, GPUs like AMD’s RX 9060 XT will need some upscaling to stay above 60 FPS, but given the quality of modern upscalers, this is a non-issue. If you have a high-end PC, you can expect Dying Light: The Beast to run at high framerates. For lower-end PCs, you can still have a good time when using upscaling. In a sea of poorly performing Unreal Engine 5 titles, Techland has impressed with its custom engine with Dying Light: The Beast.

Once FSR and DLSS are enabled, we can achieve 60+ FPS performance on all GPUs in the chart below. For high-end GPUs, achieving 100+ FPS results are possible.
