CPU Comparison – Ryzen VS Intel
CPU-wise, Final Fantasy XV can be hugely demanding, especially in heavily populated areas when users have CPUs with four threads or less. We used the same test area as our GPU testing, though low framerates can also be seen in the Lestallum outpost when using CPUs with low core counts.
In our tests, Final Fantasy XV seemed to prefer Intel CPU hardware, though AMD’s Ryzen products are not too far behind, as remember that we are using a heavy test case, with large portions of the game being less demanding. In this title, more than four strong CPU threads are recommended for 60FPS gameplay.
