1080p Performance – Benchmark Results

We can see two things here, first, that Journey is very easy to run at 1080p 60FPS, and second, that the game prefers Geforce graphics cards over Radeon at maxed out settings. 

In the previous page, we have discussed why Journey prefers Nvidia over Radeon at maxed out settings, but the short answer is the game’s heavy 8x MSAA setting. Simply put, this setting has a huge toll on Radeon graphics hardware, but even then the setting is only enough to get the R9 380 to drop below our 60FPS framerate target.
