Graphical Quality Comparison

In the village scene shown below the difference between low and medium graphical quality settings is easily visible.  First off there is the less vegetation (fewer cabbages), lower quality of distant details (see roads in the distance) and low detail or missing clothing/ armour for distant characters (woman at cooking pot missing hat and guard at the wooden battlements missing armour).

Moving from Medium to high we can see that new shadows are drawn, and existing shadows are somewhat sharper. Details like the weeds on the ground offer higher levels of detail, while distant trees and bushes now have self-shadows. The shack in the medium distance also has some higher resolution textures, which are most visible on the twig wall outside of the dwelling.

MOving to Very High and Ultra High detail levels provide increased detail in the distance vegetation, with trees and bushes in the distance offering higher levels of detail and more complex shadowing.
