Mass Effect Andromeda PC Performance Review

Mass Effect Andromeda PC Performance Review

VRAM Use

VRAM-wise Mass Effect Andromeda is very scalable, from less than 2GB at 1080p all the way to almost 5.6GB at 4K Ultra settings. Moving from Low, to medium, high or ultra sees some significant changes in VRAM usage, but also some huge changes in texture detail, which is especially visible in cutscenes and when inspecting environments closely.

1080p users should have no issues with this game using 4GB GPUs, though the game’s graphical options do scale well for 3GB or 2GB GPU users, which is great for those using older hardware.
