Monster Hunter Wilds PC Benchmark Analysis

DLSS Testing

DLSS Super Resolution Tested in Monster Hunter Wilds’ PC benchmark

Now that we have tested the Frame Generation aspect of DLSS, it’s time to look at DLSS Super Resolution. Below, we have 4K benchmark results for Nvidia’s RTX 4070 Ti at Ultra settings with each DLSS preset. Note the huge gap between DLAA and DLAA Quality (Q). Performance dives once you crank up Monster Hunter Wilds’ resolution to 4K. For high-resolution gameplay, upscaling is practically mandatory in this game.

Lower DLSS modes show diminishing returns when it comes to performance, though they still deliver higher performance levels. Monster Hunter Wilds’ PC benchmark supports DLSS 3.7. This means that it does not use Nvidia’s newer DLSS 4 AI models.
