Resident Evil 2 Remake PC Performance Review

Resident Evil 2 Remake PC Performance Review

4K Performance – GPU Benchmark Results

Pushing the Resident Evil 2’s resolution to 4K places a tremendous strain on our graphics cards lineup, so much so that the 60FPS at max settings would be a challenge for even powerhouse graphics chips like the Nvidia Titan RTX. Even so, the scalability of the RE engine offers PC gamers with plenty of tweakable options that could enable significantly higher performance levels.

While a native 4K resolution at 60FPS max settings will not be achievable for the vast majority of PC gamers, tweaks to the game’s resolution scaler and some lower graphical options will enable steady performance on 4K screens. Yes, visual sacrifices will have to be made, but it either that or the financial sacrifices that are required to upgrade your graphics card.
