Resident Evil Requiem – PC Tech Review

4K Ray Tracing with FSR on AMD’s RX 9070 XT

4K Gaming with Ray Tracing on AMD’s RX 9070 XT

Playing Resident Evil Requiem with high ray tracing is hard at 4K on AMD’s RX 9070 XT, but with FSR 4 60+ FPS framerates are easily possible. Even better, FSR 4 has less ghosting than Requiem’s TAA, and often presents a sharper image. For this reason, RDNA 4 GPU users should always use FSR 4.

With maxed-out settings, FSR 4, and frame generation, RX 9070 XT users can run Resident Evil Requiem at above 120 FPS in most situations. Our test scene is from one of the game’s most demanding early game sections. That means that most of the game runs faster than this.
