Sniper Elite 4 Performance Review

Sniper Elite 4 Performance Review

1440p Performance

Below we have tested each of these GPUs in both DirectX 11 modes and DirectX 12, with GCN, Pascal and Ploris GPUs running with Async Compute turned on for maximum performance. Alternatively, Nvidia Maxwell powered GPUs are run in DirectX 12 mode without Async Compute for optimal performance.

We can see here that Nvidia’s GPUs only see a minor performance increase when using DirectX 12, while AMD’s hardware achieves significant performance benefits from the new API. here we see the R9 Fury X overtake the GTX 980Ti and offer very similar performance to the GTX 1070.

Below the only GPU that offers a steady 60+FPS is the GTX 1080, though most GPUs on this list can achieve an almost constant 60+FPS when using slightly reduced graphical settings.
