Star Wars: Squadrons PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

1440p Performance
 
At 1440p we see a similar performance trend to 1080p, with solid 60 FPS framerates being easily achievable on all of our GPU testing lineup. Again, AMD’s Radeon graphics cards appear to outperform their Nvidia counterparts, and Nvidia’s RTX series products offer more performance than their Pascal rivals. 

Star Wars: Squadrons is a game that loves the latest architectures from AMD and Nvidia. Sadly, we do not have an Ampere product that’s available to test within Star Wars: Squadrons. One has to wonder if Ampere architecture would deliver larger than average performance gains over Turing within Star Wars: Squadrons.
