Honestly, it is strange to see an AMD-branded game launch without the latest version of AMD’s FSR upscaler (FSR 3.1). That means that AMD users don’t currently have access to AMD’s best upscaling tech, and frame generation is unavailable. Thankfully, AMD users have AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2 (AFMF 2) to play this game with generated frames, but a game-integrated option would have been great. We will be testing this later.

Super-resolution/upscaling technologies are the main way that Space Marine 2 players can boost the GPU performance of this game. Our benchmarking area is a demanding section of Space Marine 2. With our Radeon RX 7900 XT, we could play most of Space Marine 2 at 60+ FPS with FSR set to Quality mode.
