This test writes random data to the drive until it’s full. Each data point is taken at 25%, 50%, 75% and finally 100% full. This is the test that the Samsung 990 Pro absolutely shines at. Usually it’s a line more closely resembling a descent down Everest, here it slows a little then just keeps up the same pace until it’s full. Hugely impressive.
