Just for this test we thought it would be fun to see how much CPU performance you lose when it’s attempting to extend the battery life versus running flat out when you’re plugged into the mains. It certainly counts as a lot, albeit perhaps less than we were expecting. There is no doubt that for maximum performance you’ll need the GT80 6QF wired to the wall.
