Intel Core i9-9900K and ASUS Z390 Strix-E Review

Nobody will ever accuse a processor packaging of being particularly interesting, and whilst the 9th Gen Core i9-9900K definitely grabs your attention with a lurid box and headache inducing lines, the truth is that CPU boxes more than almost any other are seen once, then put away in a cupboard and forgotten about. Intel deserves some credit for having stepped away from the plain blue box of yore, even if we’re not wholly convinced that a pentagonal box is the future.
