Temperatures and Power Draw

Graphics drivers have evolved to the point where temperature is about the only limiting factor on how fast your card can go. We always abuse the card to get the worst possible scenario, so donâ€™t take this as an average in most games. The power draw graph is very much with the card running flat out with all the bells and whistles turned on. Just turning off ray-tracing can save you a fortune on your energy bills, despite the efficiency of the Nvidia cards. Certainly the TUF is much cooler than the Founders Edition we reviewed yesterday, despite it drawing more Watts from the wall due to its factory overclock and higher performance. A clear demonstration of the benefits of a good cooler.
