4K Performance – Benchmark Results

At 1440p the GTX 1080 barely managed to stay over 60FPS, making 4K 60FPS far beyond the potential of the graphics card, with even the RX Vega 56 moving into the 35-50 FPS range. 

PC gamers will require a GTX 1080 Ti or better to achieve 4K 60+FPS framerates at High or Ultra settings, showcasing a clear need for Nvidia latest RTX series graphics cards, even without the added graphical yum-yum of Ray Traced reflections. 

Ray Traced reflections are expected to have a tremendous impact on Battlefield V’s performance, making us wonder what resolution the game will be able to push once the effect is enabled. The feature will have been optimised since its Gamescom reveal, but will it be enough to make the feature worth using?
