If you want to play Borderlands 4 at high framerates, you will need a high-end PC. Even with our “optimised” settings (which are over 50% faster than Badass settings), it takes an RTX 4070 Ti to keep first percentile framerates above 60 FPS at 1080p. That’s crazy.
Below, we have enabled FSR on AMD GPUs and DLSS on Nvidia GPUs. We used Balanced mode for all tests below. Even with upscaling, we need relatively powerful GPUs to run this game at 60+ FPS. For GPUs like AMD’s RX 6700 XT and below, we need much lower graphical settings to run this game at 60+ FPS at 1080p.
