Call of Duty: WWII PC Performance Review
Graphical Options and SettingsÂ
Call of Duty: WWII is a game of two parts, with the game’s multiplayer mode containing a separate options menu to its single-player counterpart, an option that makes sense given the differing requirements of each half of the game. Â
Those who play the campaign will want to play with a steady framerate but have visuals that are cranked up as high as possible, increasing the graphical quality and believability of each scene to achieve an absorbing/engaging experience. Those playing competitive multiplayer on the other hand want to win, which rock stable framerates and lightning quick response times are the order of the day. The ability to change these independently allows users to create perfect settings for each section of the game without compromising the other.Â
Both sides contain useful options like “No Blood” option for those that want to avoid Gore and a “Colorblind filter” that takes into account users who have lower levels of colour acuity.Â
The game’s multiplayer mode also includes options to enable or disable mini-map rotation, as the campaign has no mini-map, and the ability to set a maximum framerate. In multiplayer, the game’s maximum framerate can be set between 30 and 250. Â
In both modes, the game’s FOV is 65 by default and can be adjusted to any value between 50 and 95.

Graphical Options and PresetsÂ
Call of Duty: WWII contains a large number of graphical options and offers a selection of images beside each of the game setting that reveals exactly how each option affects the game’s visuals. The game does not feature built-in graphical presets, instead relying on an automatic settings option that adjusts the game’s visuals based on your PC hardware.Â
Below is a list of the in-game graphical options that are available and a collection of presets that we have created to judge the scalability of the game, allowing us to see exactly how far this game can be scaled back for older hardware. Â
