Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy PC Performance Review

4K Benchmarks

The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a game where 4K 60FPS gameplay is more than possible with appropriate hardware, allowing PC gamers to play the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy with higher resolutions and framerates than the game’s PS4 Pro counterpart.

While only our GTX 1080 was able to offer a constant 60 FPS in our demanding test area, our reference GTX 1070 and RX Vega 56 graphics cards can deliver excellent levels of performance.

Much like our 1440p tests, where our RX 580 and GTX 1060 can offer constant 60FPS framerates with high shadow quality instead of ultra, our GTX 1070 and RX Vega 56 can provide steady 60FPS framerates with a slight reduction in graphical detail. We will say again that this is an almost unnoticeable decrease in shadow quality, making the performance gains more than worth it.

Another thing to note is that a GTX 1060 graphics card can offer a constant 30 FPS framerate, which is ideal for those who are ok with playing the game at a lower framerate. Sadly the RX 580 cannot achieve the same feat, though with a reduction in shadow quality from ultra to high this feat is easily achievable.

The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is extremely easy to run at 4K on today’s high-end graphics card offerings.
