Forza Horizon 6 PC Performance Tested – 13 GPUs Tested

AMD FSR – No Frame Generation?

FSR 4.1, but no FSR Frame Generation support

At launch, Forza Horizon 6 supports AMD’s FSR Super Resolution (upscaling) technology but lacks AMD’s Frame Generation tech. For supported GPUs, Forza Horizon 6 supports AMD FSR 4.1 on PC. For older AMD GPUs, the game uses FSR 3 Super Resolution.

As we can see below, AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 XT at 4K, with FSR 4.1, delivers a tremendous performance boost over native 4K rendering. Overall, FSR 4.1 delivers results similar to DLSS 4.5, though I would say DLSS 4.5 delivers a slightly clearer output. That said, the difference is minor at best.

FSR 4.1 delivers much better results than AMD’s FSR 3 technology, which delivers a blurrier image output with more aliasing.
