DLSS and Frame Generation

Forza Horizon 6 supports Nvidia’s DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution technology, and DLSS Multi Frame Generation up to 4x. With DLSS Overrides (Guide Here), RTX 50 series users can enable DLSS 5x Frame Generation and 6x Frame Generation to achieve even higher framerates.

As always, PC gamers should be aiming for solid framerates without frame generation. Higher “real” framerates deliver reduced input lag and increase game responsiveness. Frame Generation enabled smoother gameplay using generated frames. Frame Generation should be used to help games achieve a smoother experience on high-refresh-rate monitors, not to counter low baseline framerates.

With an RTX 5080, we can achieve framerates of over 300 FPS with DLSS Super Resolution in Performance Mode and with DLSS Frame Generation set to 6x. That’s faster than any currently available 4K gaming display. Display makers, Forza Horizon 6 is crying out for faster 4K monitors! 360Hz 4K monitors when?
