Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide
1080p Performance – Benchmark Results
At 1080p it’s pretty clear that Jedi: Fallen Order is a CPU-limited game. While the RTX 2080 Ti still leads the pack, it is worth noting that everything from the RTX 2060 to the RX Vega 56 provides the exact same gameplay experience in Kashyyyk.Â
While a faster processor than our 4GHz i7-6800K would help us achieve higher performance levels, it is worth remembering that Sony’s PlayStation 4 uses a 1.6GHz AMD Jaguar processor. With modern PC processors offering higher clock speeds and IPC, this level of CPU performance shouldn’t be a concern for PC gamers. This makes CPU performance one of the biggest problems that face PC gamers in Jedi: Fallen Order.Â
At high settings and with resolution scaling, both the GTX 1060 and RX 580 are capable of 1080p (ish), 60FPS gameplay, negating CPU related performance drops and Fallen Order’s annoying stutters.Â

Thankfully, not all planets are as demanding as Kashyyyk, with Zeffo offering enough CPU headroom for our graphics cards to differentiate themselves. Even so, our RTX 2080 Ti isn’t able to come close to full utilisation.Â
