Yakuza Kiwami 2 PC Performance Review

1440p Performance – Benchmark Results  

At 1440p the only graphics card on our test suite that maintained a constant 60+ FPS was our RTX 2080 Ti, though we would guess that GPUs like the Radeon VII, RTX 2080 and GTX 1080 Ti could achieve the same feat, or close to it. 

Our guess is that somehow lowering the quality, or disabling Yakuza Kiwami 2’s Depth of Field setting could have a huge impact on GPU performance, as the effect can hugely draw upon GPU resources, but sadly that option is not available for PC gamers to tweak at this time. 

AMD RX 580 and GTX 1060 are just about able to maintain 30+ FPS in our demanding test area, though for the sake of some headroom we would advice lowering a setting or two for a tighter lock on 30FPS when playing the game. This will provide an experience that is sharper than the game’s console version while hitting the same framerate targets.
